“The golf season never truly ends for coaches, as recruiting is a constant endeavor throughout the year. However, I am eagerly anticipating our upcoming competitions with what feels like a brand-new team here in Asheville,” stated Cash. “We have incorporated six new events into our schedule, and we kick off the season right away with the Tiger Invitational at Clemson in late August when the team returns to campus. One major addition to our fall schedule is the tournament at Red Sky Ranch in Walcott, Colorado, where last year’s 20th-ranked Pepperdine emerged victorious. The French Broad Collegiate Invitational is the highlight of our schedule, as we relish the opportunity to play in front of our supporters at Walnut Cove and also be featured on ESPN+. The team is eager to get started, and communication with them has been frequent.”
The season commences with the Tiger Invitational at Clemson (Aug. 26), followed by the Velvet Classic at Murray State (Sept. 16-17). Asheville then heads west for the Golfweek Red Sky Classic (Sept. 23-25) before venturing to the Edisto Island Invitational at the College of Charleston (Oct. 14-15). The fall season wraps up with the Wofford Terrier Invitational (Oct. 21-22) and the French Broad Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 28-29).
In the spring of 2025, the Bulldogs kick off at Charleston Southern’s Rivertowne Invitational (Feb. 17-18) and then compete in Samford’s Huntsville.org Invitational (Mar. 3-4). The team will participate in UAB’s Bama Beach Bash (Mar. 16-18) before taking on Kennesaw State’s Pinetree Intercollegiate (Mar. 24-25). The regular season concludes at Golfweek’s Caledonia Fish and Golf Intercollegiate (Mar. 31-Apr. 2) leading up to the Big South Championships at Fripp Island Golf Resort (Apr. 13-16).
