The men’s golf field for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games has been finalized, with the event just a month away. The women’s field is also set and features a star-studded lineup.
After the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, the Olympic roster was determined with players like Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu, and Rose Zhang qualifying for Paris 2024.
The women’s golf tournament at the Paris Games will be a four-day competition following the stroke play rules seen in major golf tournaments. Medals will be awarded to the top three players with the fewest strokes after four days of play.
American Nelly Korda, the current top-ranked women’s golfer, will aim to defend the gold medal she won in the 2020 Olympics in Japan.

Olympics 2024: Paris Games golf course
Le Golf National – a course in Guyancourt, near Versailles – will host both competitions. It hosts the Open de France annually and previously hosted the Ryder Cup in 2018.
Olympics 2024: Qualifying for Paris Games
The qualification process for the golfers was quite rigorous. Each tournament will feature 60 players, with the top 15 world-ranked players – as of June 24 for women – making up the top of the field, with a maximum of four top-15 players per country. The remaining 45 slots will go to other top players who receive at-large bids, with each country limited to two players for at-large bids.
