Creighton women’s basketball announced its non-conference schedule for the upcoming season. The Bluejays return five of six seniors have a pretty difficult non-conference slate ahead of them as they look to make a fourth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. At least six of the 11 non-conference games are against teams who made the tournament last season. Creighton opens the season with a game at South Dakota State on Nov. 8, and then they return home to face Drake three days later. The Jays play at Kansas State on Nov. 14 before the annual matchup against Nebraska on Nov. 22. The Emerald Coast Classic in Florida is the week of Thanksgiving, and the Jays play Wichita State on Nov. 25 and either Missouri or Syracuse the next day.
In December, the Bluejays will head to Tulsa before they take off to Northern Iowa on Dec. 7. They are on the road again to Green Bay on Dec. 14 which is followed by their final home matchup against Wyoming on Dec. 17. Non-conference play wraps up with what may be the toughest game of the slate, a neutral-site rematch with UCLA, the team that knocked Creighton out of the tournament in March.
