The Nebraska women’s basketball team added some offensive firepower Monday with the commitment of 2025 guard Olivia Hamlin.
Hamlin, a 5-foot-9 guard, averaged 27.5 points in 27 minutes in 26 games as a junior last winter at Snow Canyon High School in St. George, Utah.
Hamlin becomes the lone member of the Huskers’ 2025 class, which had one member — McKenzie Mathurin — decommit last month. Hamlin announced her pledge on Instagram.
“She made so many clutch 3-pointers when we needed them,” Snow Canyon coach Sue Hoskins told the Cedar City News (Utah) in March. “She works very hard and is a great teammate but she is also humble and coachable and just a good young woman.”
Hamlin plays club basketball for Mountain West Premier. She visited Nebraska in late April and visited Virginia Tech a couple of weeks later.
